Leadership & Team Effectiveness Resources
Everything on this page is built on one framework: the Emotional Health Levels. Emotional health is a state of enhanced wellbeing created through highly conscious choices and mindful practices. Leaders and teams each operate at a level - most commonly in the range from Level 3 (Social Value) to Level 6 (Exaggeration) - with the Line of Choice dividing conscious, chosen behaviour above from automated, reactive patterns below. Most of us have a primary level we operate from and a secondary one that appears under pressure.
To develop our team, we first understand the Emotional Health Levels at which I operate as a leader - a primary level and usually a secondary one as well. Once this is established, we look at the way teams operate at the higher of your primary or secondary level. Then we use the Teams Model to identify which domains the team is performing well in and where the development opportunities lie. The final step is the development path for you and your team.
Click on different parts of the diagram above to access the resources for each level.
Choose the assessment matching the level your team most resembles. Unsure? Start with Level 3 - it measures any team against the characteristics of highly effective teams - or explore the model above first.
One page per level: the nine domains with their criteria at that level - useful as a printable reference in team development sessions.
These assessments are provided free of charge by the Global Leadership Foundation to support the development of Emotionally Healthy Leaders & Teams.
